Fracture test to accelerate the prediction of polymer embrittlement during aging – Case of PET hydrolysis

Depending on the nature of a given polymer and environment, rate degradation can vary significantly, from few hours up to tens decades. In aging community, it is therefore true challenge obtain an understanding loss in properties within reasonable time frame. The present work presents novel approach decrease that time.
